The 34 Story
Jay is an avid griller and over-all experimental home cook. During his youth he had the luxury of having his Grandfather being an executive chef at Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI. While originally from New England, he moved South in 2003. Since moving south, he has gained a great amount of respect for BBQ, grilling just about anything and everything. He enjoys not only cooking for friends and family, but getting the most simple ingredients to shine creatively.
As Jay honed his backyard bbq skills, he set out to start a community that shared his passion. With that he started 34bbq.com, a place where anyone can go to enjoy, have fun and create amazing food!
