Gluten Free Grilling

Hey folks! I think it's time to cover this subject. I am going to dedicate a section of 34bbq.com to gluten free grilling. If you have any ideas, comments or plain ole advice....leave them here and I will make sure to share the information with the grilling community.

I am personally making the attempt to go gluten free for my health and I would love to have this information available for all those who could benefit from it. So as it goes right now, I am rigorously educating myself on this topic to have the most informative and legitimate information available to support GLUTEN FREE GRILLING.

As always, thanks for the support! And look for the Gluten free grilling section coming soon!

We don't have email set up as of right now, but you can use our social media pages for any questions or comments you may have., or comment directly on the news/blog posts.

Thank you for the support.

Sincerely,

Jay

Music while you cook:

Listening to music while I cook is a mainstay. It certainly takes the “work” out of it and imparts more “fun.” It can even set the mood for the meal itself. And it’s certainly better than watching bad game shows or the news while eating dinner!

It can be used as an inspiration, to set a theme, or to distract you from the monotony of the day and let your creative side shine while you’re making a fantastic meal. And can help generate conversation, as long as the music is at a conversation volume…and not a reference theater level volume.

I personally have used it not only when I am cooking indoors, but also when I am outside grilling and smoking. I have some outdoor speakers that are connected to my surround sound system that let me play whatever is on inside, or something completely different.

It doesn’t even need to be fancy…just your phone, or a boom box. (if you remember those) But there is something about the music that makes it all feel more fun.

Having music on when you dine can also be a heightened experience for those looking to add some other dimensions. Italian dinner nights can get some opera, taco night can get some salsa, (pun intended) Jamaican jerk chicken night can get some Reggae…you get the idea. It just creates a mood that is more festive.

I just think it makes the task of cooking, a little bit more fun, and a little less like work!

Coming soon to the store: Outdoor speakers! Check back soon for details.

Adding an essentials page...

This page is specific for the gear that I use and think helps the overall experience of outdoor cooking. These things (in my opinion) help create time saving, great ideas, recipes, safety and accuracy. In turn this will make you a better, well equipped backyard BBQ champion!

All have prices and direct links to the corresponding amazon.com page. And if you're a Prime member, these are predominantly Prime eligible for free shipping!

Pictures

Just started the process of adding some of the grilling pictures to the site today. I just wanted everybody to know that I use all my own pictures and eat all the food that you see. This isn't just a hobby for me it's my everyday cooking. That doesn't mean there may not be a stock photo in a recipe, but it will be notated as such.

Along with learning how to grill and BBQ better, I also want produce quality photos that make the food look as delicious as it tastes!

First day jitters...

Jumping into the realm of managing all my digital content solo. That means I'm writing my own blogs, videoing my own clips, (and editing them)  taking my own pics, and running my new website!

Super excited to get this off the ground after conceptualizing this for over a year now. Please feel free to leave any and all feedback...good, great, or otherwise.

I will have an online store up and running soon where you can purchase all things bbq, including gadgets, gear, t-shirts, stickers and cookbooks. All coming soon!
